Refund & Cancellation Policy
We want you to be happy with Consilena. This explains when you can get a refund and how to cancel. Last updated 18 July 2026.
Credits — 14-day refund on unused balance
Credits are prepaid and consumed as you use the service. If you change your mind, you can request a refund of your unused credit balance within 14 days of purchase. Credits that have already been consumed (used to run queries, analyses or document generation) are non-refundable, because the service was already delivered. Refunds are made to your original payment method via Stripe.
Subscriptions — cancel anytime
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current paid period. We do not automatically pro-rate part-months, except where required by law. If a renewal charged in error, contact us and we will put it right.
Your statutory rights (consumers)
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have a statutory right to cancel a distance purchase within 14 days. Because Consilena is digital content/services supplied immediately, by starting to use purchased credits you acknowledge that supply has begun and that your right to cancel is lost for the portion you have used — your unused balance remains refundable within the 14-day window above. These rights are in addition to, and not limited by, this policy.
Faults & billing errors
If the service was faulty, not as described, or you were charged incorrectly, you are entitled to a remedy under consumer law — contact us and we will refund or credit you as appropriate, regardless of the 14-day window.
How to request a refund or cancel
Manage subscriptions from your account, or email [email protected] with your account email and what you would like refunded or cancelled. We aim to respond within a few business days and to process approved refunds promptly via Stripe.
