Scope
This policy applies to everyone who uses consilena.com, the Consilena for Word add-in and any other part of the service, on their own behalf or for an organisation.
Unlawful and harmful use
Do not use Consilena to:
- break the law, or plan, facilitate or conceal a crime, fraud, sanctions evasion or money laundering;
- harass, threaten, defame or discriminate against anyone;
- create content that sexualises children, incites violence or promotes terrorism;
- infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy or confidentiality;
- mislead a court, tribunal or authority, including by filing unverified AI output as if it were checked authority.
Your documents
Upload only documents you have the right to use for the task, and only the personal data the task needs. If documents contain other people’s personal data or confidential information, you are responsible for having a lawful basis and any permission required. Do not upload malware or files designed to harm systems.
Security and fair use
- Do not probe, scan or test the security of the service, or bypass authentication, rate limits, credit metering or other controls. Report vulnerabilities to [email protected].
- Do not scrape the service, extract the legal corpus in bulk, or access it by automated means other than features we provide for that purpose.
- Do not share accounts or sign-in credentials, or resell access without our written agreement.
- Do not use the service to build a competing product or to train AI models.
- Do not try to make the AI produce content that breaks this policy.
Presenting output
Do not present Consilena output as legal advice from Consilena, or as the work of a lawyer who has not reviewed it. If you are not authorised to provide legal services in a jurisdiction, do not use Consilena to provide them to others there.
Lawyer handover
Give lawyers accurate information, use the handover only for genuine requests, and do not use it to contact firms for other purposes.
What we do about breaches
We may remove content, limit features, suspend or close an account that breaks this policy, and report unlawful activity to the authorities. Where it is reasonable, we tell you first and give you a chance to explain. Questions and reports: [email protected].
