For in-house teams
AI for in-house legal teams
Consilena helps in-house legal and compliance teams clear contract and regulatory work they can check: it reviews agreements against the law and your position, researches UK, German and EU legislation such as GDPR, DORA and MiCA with citations you can open, and puts every edit into Word as a tracked change.
What in-house teams use it for
- Contract review: supplier, customer and processor agreements checked against the law and your position.
- Due diligence and contract sweeps: one row per agreement in the Batch Review grid.
- Regulatory research: EU law including GDPR, the AI Act, DORA and MiCA, and UK legislation.
- Jurisdiction comparisons for teams working across the UK, Germany and the EU.
Your playbook, applied consistently
Install review workflows and templates from the Library by practice area, or describe your positions in plain language. Drafts built from your templates keep mandatory clauses locked in place, and every proposed change is a tracked change your team accepts or rejects.
A record you can show
Each matter keeps its facts, documents and outputs. The trace records every search, read and check with its time and cost, and every document decision is saved as a version. When someone asks how a conclusion was reached, the steps and sources are there to open.
Before you instruct outside counsel
Many questions reach outside counsel only because nobody had time to read the documents first. A cited first pass lets the team see what the legislation says, which clauses matter and which questions are still open, so an instruction to a firm can be narrower and better prepared. When a matter needs a lawyer, you can ask for one: the file is handed over anonymised, and only once you consent and the firm accepts.
