Use cases
Legal AI use cases you can check
Consilena is used for six kinds of legal work: reviewing contracts, researching legislation, due diligence across many documents, drafting, comparing the law of several jurisdictions and reviewing documents. In each, the AI shows every step it takes, cites the provision behind each claim and leaves every edit for you to accept or reject.
- Contract reviewCheck an agreement against the law and your position, with every edit as a tracked change.
- Legal researchResearch legislation with answers that cite and open the provision they rely on.
- Due diligenceReview a whole set of documents in one grid: fact, applicable law and risk per document.
- DraftingDraft from your templates, with mandatory clauses locked and every edit tracked.
- Compare jurisdictionsPut the rules of several jurisdictions side by side, each point cited.
- Document reviewRead, summarise and compare documents, with each point linked to its passage.
What every use case has in common
- A work trace. Every search, read and check is listed with its time and cost, so you can see what was done and what was not.
- Citations you can open. Each claim carries a numbered source that opens the provision from the official publisher, with its status and the date it was retrieved.
- Edits as tracked changes. Changes to your documents arrive as tracked changes; each decision is saved as a new version.
- A price before you start. The composer shows an estimate before you send. Free start credits, then pay-as-you-go packs; no subscription.
AI output is not legal advice. Consilena is a research and drafting tool, not a law firm; you check the output before you rely on it.
