Due diligence AI with a row for every document
For due diligence, Consilena reviews many documents at once in the Batch Review grid: one row per document, with the fact found, the applicable law and the risk. Each cell is cited so you can open the source, and the grid stays in the matter with the documents, so the review can be checked and repeated.
What the Batch Review grid does
Due diligence usually means asking the same questions of many documents: who the parties are, what the term is, whether there is a change-of-control clause, how the agreement can be ended, which law governs it. The Batch Review grid puts those questions in columns and the documents in rows, so a data room becomes one table you can read across.
Each row records the fact, the applicable law and the risk for one document. Citations point to the passage of the document and, where the question is legal, to the provision relied on.
How a due diligence review runs
- Create a matterMatters keep the facts, documents and outputs of the transaction together.
- Add the documentsUpload the contracts and other documents you need reviewed.
- Set the questionsWrite the columns in plain language, or start from a review workflow installed from the Library.
- Check the estimate and runThe price is shown before you run. Each step is recorded in the trace.
- Read across and downRead the grid by document or by question, open the citations behind a cell and export what you need as PDF or DOCX.
What you still check
- Sample cells against the documents themselves, especially where the risk is high.
- Look for documents that are missing, unreadable or duplicated: the grid only reflects what was uploaded.
- Check any legal conclusion in a cell against the cited provision and its status.
- Decide what the findings mean for the deal: the grid lists issues, it does not weigh them for you.
Limits
- It can misread a clause or miss a fact, as any AI can.
- It does not research case law; there is no UK or German case law in the corpus yet.
- It is a review aid for your team, not a due diligence report signed off by a lawyer.

Frequently asked questions
What is due diligence AI?
Software that reads a set of documents and extracts the same facts and risks from each. In Consilena this is the Batch Review grid: one row per document, with fact, applicable law and risk, each cited.
Can I review a whole data room?
Yes. The Batch Review grid is designed for contract review across a data room: one row per document you upload, read in one table.
Does the AI decide whether a risk matters?
No. It flags what it finds and cites where. Weighing risks for the transaction stays with you.
Can I export the grid?
Answers, memos and redlines can be exported as PDF or DOCX files.
