What Electronic signature means

An electronic signature can be as simple as a typed name or a drawn signature, or a cryptographic signature tied to a certificate. The EU eIDAS Regulation, retained in UK law as UK eIDAS, distinguishes simple, advanced and qualified electronic signatures.

Most commercial contracts can be signed electronically, but some documents have formal requirements; check the rules for the document and jurisdiction concerned.

In Consilena

Consilena can send a document for signature: recipients receive a link, sign in the browser, and you can follow progress and download the signed copy.
